Modim: Songs of Spirit and Gratitude
This is a personal collection of Jewish liturgical and folk music that has inspired me during forty years of leading Jewish services, as well as performing Jewish music and leading sing-alongs. A few of these melodies are my own compositions, while others were written by talented musicians who have inspired a generation of Jewish liturgical composers. I have combined these liturgical songs with Jewish folk songs ranging from eastern European Klezmer, to centuries-old Sephardi Ladino love songs, to Israeli folk songs written in the 1950s.
