Songs of Love and Humanity Volume 2
This project began as one album, a personal collection of folk songs that have been important and influential in my career performing, teaching, and leading sing-alongs for more than fifty years. When that album was finished it became clear to me that I had more to sing, so I embarked on recording a second collection, Songs of Love and Humanity, Volume 2. Though still containing several traditional folk songs, this volume is a little more focused on songs written during the 1960s, a formative period for me. These folk songs contain messages of love, work, struggle, and hope and are a mirror of the human experience.
